FC2 WiFi Terms of Use

The FC2WiFi Terms of Use constitute a part of the FC2 Terms of Use. The FC2WiFi Terms of Use (Hereby also referred to as "This Document") and the "Fundamental Guidelines" section of the FC2 Terms of Use apply to the use of the FC2WiFi service. In order for This Service to run appropriately, FC2WiFi Users and people who setup an FC2WiFi router and provide Access Points (Hereforth known as "Owners") must agree and follow these Terms of Use.

1.Service

FC2WiFi is a service that provides Users the ability to communicate via data transmission over designated FC2 wireless LAN devices (Hereforth referred to as "FC2WiFi Router").

  1. You acknowledge that communications made by Users over FC2WiFi is constantly and instantly released on the internet.
  2. The service offered by FC2WiFi is not to be used for dating purposes.
  3. FC2 is not responsible, nor does FC2 have the intent to monitor communication contents' accuracy or compliance to these Terms of Use or any other law. However, FC2 retains the right to monitor communications and data transfers based on these Terms of Use.

2.Rules and Qualifications

Users acknowledge and agree to the terms set by these Terms of Use when using the FC2WiFi Service In order to qualify to use FC2WiFi, Users must reach the following requirements.

 
                    
  1. Users must not include falsehoods in any data or information provided to FC2 from the beginning of use.
  2. Users must have never been banned from FC2 before.
  3.  

3. Prohibited Conduct and Bans

Users may not engage in any conduct or commit any acts prohibited by the Fundamental Guidelines, or any corresponding suspected act. Users are also prohibited from any of the following activity. Users will be banned from the service if they commit any act prohibited by the Fundamental Guidelines.

  1. Using another person's name or impersonating them.
  2. Sending messages or friend requests to other users or persons unknown, en masse and/or without discretion.
  3. Committing acts which could compromise the stability of This Service.
  4. Committing acts which could harm the Owner or other FC2WiFi Users in the FC2WiFi Router area.
  5. Registering multiple accounts.
  6. Committing any act which FC2 deems unacceptable of an FC2WiFi User.

4. Limitation of Liability

FC2 can not be held accountable for any matter mentioned in the Limitation of Liabilities section of the Fundamental Guidelines, nor for any of the following reasons.

  1. FC2 cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of FC2WiFi Router addresses or other associated information.
  2. FC2 retains the right to restrict network bandwidth or the number of people allowed to connect to an FC2WiFi Router or the range of the provided service, in order to maintain the stability of This Service.
  3. Users are responsible for the operating costs of their own devices and communication fees. FC2 cannot be held accountable.
  4. Users must acknowledge that Owners have the right to interrupt providing the service intermittently or permanently for any reason. FC2 and Owners cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage incurred to Users through the use of This Service.
  5. Owners and Users are required to resolve any communications troubles between themselves. FC2 will only offer support after Owners and Users cannot come to a resolution between themselves.
  6. Users must acknowledge that other Users may use FC2WiFi for malevolent reasons, and that Users are responsible to protect their own security and privacy.
  7. FC2 cannot be held accountable for any trouble occurring with transmission environments provided by Owners, or the service within the associated establishment.
  8. The use of This Service is dependent upon the transmission situation of the area established around the FC2WiFi Router. FC2 is not responsible for stating or asserting the correct, appropriate use by Users, in all corresponding regions.
  9. FC2 cannot be held accountable for any additional costs incurred from services, goods, data, points etc. in stores or establishments, or from any damages or loss incurred from the User being unable to appropriately receive them.

5. Discontinuing the Service

  1. When Users wish to discontinue use of the FC2WiFi Service, Users may do so from the FC2ID management screen.
  2. Users relinquish responsibility, only once said User has completed the process of the FC2WiFi service discontinuation.

6. Amendments to the Terms of Use

  1. All Users of FC2WiFi acknowledge and accept any and all amendments, changes and revisions to This Document as they occur.
